Prices in dentistry: how are they formed in general and at Sirius Dent?

Is this a publicity stunt? Do you just not give the rest away?
Really interesting question.
We understand why such questions arise. It so happened that in our latitudes, a specific concept of pricing in dentistry does not exist. The economic principle is practically not observed. Often, prices are taken, as they say, “from the ceiling.” In principle: at such and such prices and such and such number of manipulations, the doctor will have enough for such and such needs.
That is, the price does not reflect the real cost of the service, but how much the doctor would like to receive for it. Rather, as much as he needs)
Of course, basically everyone tries to look after each other in order to be more or less in the same price category, but some try to go the other way in one direction or another: either dumping, or saying “I’m the best and therefore the most expensive”. As a rule, there is no justification for these words.
How did we form the price? We took into account:
- cost of materials;
- depreciation of equipment;
- doctor’s salary;
- expected profit.
In other words, in the process of creating the price, we were guided by accounting and economic principles. With a sharp change in the dollar exchange rate or an increase in the price of materials, the price also changed. But the cost of services always remained fair.
That’s why our prices are like this. Not rounded.
By the way, understanding the situation in Ukraine, we went to meet the patients and, despite everything, we have not changed the prices for our services since last year.
And yes, we give the rest)
