Sinus Lift with Simultaneous Dental Implantation

The cases when there is insufficient bone tissue for the implantation of chewing teeth in the upper jaw occur frequently in our patients. If the thickness of a jaw bone in the projection of the maxillary sinus is only 1-1.5 mm, natural stabilization of the implant (to ensure the engraftment of dental implants and the absence of medical centeral mobility) is out of the question.

In such cases, we use special titanium plates (implant stabilizers) and perform a sinus lift (a procedure to increase the volume of the upper jaw bone) with one-stage tooth implantation. In the Sirius Dent Medical Center, a sinus lift and the installation of a dental implant are always performed as part of one operation. This allows shortening the rehabilitation period to 9 months. After the engraftment of the implant, a crown is placed on it.

If a sinus lift is performed as a separate operation, while a dental implant is installed after 6 months, then prosthetics and restoring the aesthetics and functionality of the dentition can be started less than a year later.
